Starter Projects

Several indexing projects are now reserved for new volunteers, those who have never submitted a batch. When a new volunteer clicks Download Batch..., they see a special list of these starter projects.

The batches in these projects are very small. Ideally, one batch should take a new user 5 to 10 minutes to index.

Starter projects may appear in the list of current indexing projects on the Web site, but they will only be available to new volunteers to index.
