After the horrible batches we've had for a while, I had to stop and appreciate this one. Wow. I should write the census-taker's great grandson a letter about how grateful I am for her legible handwriting.

I have often said that I will be seeking out Census takers in the next life and either thanking them profusely or berating them for their sloppiness. It is amazing what neat penmanship does for your day!
