It's an Easter Miracle!

Yesterday morning I sent out this email:

Hello,

If you received this message it means you are signed up as an indexer in our ward. Sorry if you received it more than once, I must have another member of your family signed up.

Currently we are at 88,212 names. Our goal is 100,000 by April 15. I wanted to give us a harder goal this time because "it's not sacrifice unless it hurts". Is it hurting too much? We can do this but we need everyone's help. Set a personal goal to do what you can. If you need help, please email or call me.

I just want to again bear my testimony of this work. It is amazing to be a part of this giant act of service that we are giving to the world - members or not. I love that on busy days where I feel I don't have what it takes to go out and do amazing acts of service, I can still do something on my own time from my home. There is a neat spirit that can be felt while doing this. This feels like "End of Days" work and it's exciting to witness the gathering process.

Your login is now your LDS.org login. You'll have to merge your accounts the first time you sign in. THey walk you through it. If you don't have an LDS.org account, you'll need your membership # to obtain one. That can be found on your tithing records, temple recommend or by asking Brother Wright.

Thanks for all of your help. I can't wait to see you at the BBQ April 15 at my house. Invites will be handed out to those who have indexed next Sunday.

Sincerely,

Shelby

THis morning I checked our stats and we are at 91,211. That means we did 2,999 names YESTERDAY. Can you believe it? Keep it up and we'll make our goal!!

Did you all feel just a little proud of yourselves during Nelson's talk about genealogy and familysearch? I had my laptop on my lap with indexing open, so I gave myself a little high-five. I told you guys this was a great work we were doing!!

In other news:

Becky W is about to hit her 10,000. She is at 9,917.

Robin is close to her 5,000.

Amy C might just see the top ten this week. She is within 300.

Great job. Keep it up. I can't wait to check again tomorrow!
